Who is Vefa İbrahim Araci?

Born in Izmit in 1959, Vefa İbrahim ARACI is a graduate of Izmit Mimar Sinan High School, Department of Science. During his education life and after his military service, he worked with his father Şükrü Tool in the Shipping and Logistics company. This situation, in addition to his acquaintance with trade and business ethics at an early age, has been instrumental in clinching his existing entrepreneurship.

After his military service in the Ankara Presidential Guard Force Basketball team, he worked in the Transport and Logistics company of his father, as well as ARNAK Metal Kimya Ltd. Şti, together with Çelik Halat and Rabak companies, he established a steel wire and prestressed concrete wire production facility and a mattress factory. After the KORUMA AGRICULTURE factory established in Izmit went on sale, it bought this facility in 1994 and re-established KORUMA KLOR ALKALI SANAYİ ve TİCARET A.Ş and KORUMA TEMİZLİK A.Ş. The fact that he carried his honest and entrepreneurial approach in trade to industrialism, and the support and trust he received from his family members enabled him to become a successful industrialist at a young age. Due to the visionary decisions and hard work of V. İbrahim ARACI, and his understanding of investing what he earns from the industry into the industry, KORUMA has found its place among Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Companies as a company that produces its own energy, uses nature-friendly technology and increases its commercial success day by day. . KORUMA continues to contribute to our country’s industry and public health with its HATAY-Kırıkhan, DENİZLİ-Kocabaş Production Facilities, ADANA-Yumurtalık Free Zone and Chemical Storage Facilities in TEKİRDAĞ-Çorlu.

V. İbrahim ARACI, who believes that the foundation of a developed society is based on education and continues to give free scholarships to many students with the desire to benefit the society he lives in, is the Kocaeli University Semahat ARACI Conference Hall, which he had built on behalf of his deceased mother, and Derince ŞÜKRÜ ARACI Primary and Secondary School, which he had built on behalf of his deceased father. Kocaeli University continues to increase its support for social responsibility projects with the construction of “Semahat ARACI Medical Assisted Elderly Care Center”, which will be a first in Turkey in the field of health and education.

V. İbrahim ARACI, who is aware of the undeniable contributions of association and foundation activities to society and attaches great importance to it, is the founder of Kocaeli Martyrs’ Families Foundation, Kocaeli Crimean Tatars Association and Crimean Associations Federation.

He has been doing VEFA Stud Breeding and Thoroughbred English Horse Breeding abroad since 2008, with the desire to contribute to the country’s industry, as well as to the Turkish Horse Breeding, which he sees as as important as the industry and a source of employment. V. İbrahim ARACI, who has become an important name in horse breeding, became the first and only Turkish citizen to race in the World EPSOM Derby and to win consecutive races in England with his horse registered in the Turkish Stud Book.

ARACI, who is the founding entrepreneur of GEBKIM Chemistry V. OIZ, of which he is still the Chairman, continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors of KIPLASMA A.Ş and the Chairman of the KIPLAS Disciplinary Board.
